The Shoot Around will be at Red Rock Elementary on Monday, October 25th.

If your player is NOT going to make it please let me know as soon as possible.

What is a Shoot Around?
• Intent is to evaluate the players skills to make fair teams.
• Players will be evaluated on their listening skills, fundamentals, hustle, attitude, and athletic ability.

Everyone will make a team. No one will get cut.

Times are the following:
· 3rd Graders: 6:15 -7:15 p.m. (Please be there no later than 6 pm to check your player)
· 4th Graders: 7:20 – 8:20 p.m. (Please be there no later than 7:05 pm to check your player)

Please have your player bring the following:
· Water
· Tennis shoes
· Wear shorts, if possible
· Basketball, Size 5 or 27.5 “. We are hoping to bring some to the shoot around. Remember to put your name on the ball.

Please check in at the desk with your player and they will be checked in and given a number to put on their shorts. From there the girls will warm up until we are ready to begin. We do ask parents wait outside in the hallway during this time because there is not a lot of room in the gym for spectators.

After the shoot out the coaches and myself will get together to form teams and you should hear from your sometime during the week of 10/25. Tentatively practice begins the week of November 1st and games will begin the week of November 29th.
