Exciting News About 7th and 8th Grade Football 2011 **UPDATED INFORMATION PLEASE GO TO JUNIOR HIGH FOOTBALL TAB**

The Woodbury Athletic Association will be adding an exciting Alternative to the Current Jr. High Football program in 2011.

The intention will be to have competitive Football teams in the Metro Football League.  These teams would be formed from a tryout process that will place young men on teams that will do some traveling and play a more competitive football than you were used to in WAA 5th or 6th grade.  There will be an emphasis on a much higher coach to player ratio, with position specific training from line coaches to Quarterbacks Coaches. These teams would practice in the evening unlike the current Jr High Football teams that play and practice after school.

Stay tuned for more exciting details.

This Camp does not conflict with any other sports and will be conducted by a very qualified paid football staff under the direction of the WAA Football Board and the Varsity Football Coach.

This is a No Contact football camp. Its goals are to teach and practice fundamental athletic skills, techniques, conditioning and position specific coaching.

No equipment is necessary except for proper footwear and a water bottle. Camp will be held indoors when necessary so weather will not be a factor.

The CampStaff is comprised of the WHS Varsity Head Football Coach, college football players and WHS varsity players and coaches. The “Polishing Diamonds” and “Positive Coaching Alliance” curriculums will be incorporated into your child’s camp experience.
