These workouts are for players looking for more advanced skill development and knowledge of the game. The sessions will be led by the Woodbury Girls Basketball Staff who will guide them through different areas of foundational development. These areas will consist of: ball handling under pressure, passing, shooting, finishing, balance & footwork, as well as offensive and defensive team play.

These workouts are for players who are new or newer to basketball who are just looking to learn the basics of basketball and have fun playing with friends this summer. Basic skills and games will be taught at this camp by WHS Staff and Players.

The 2-Day training program will focus on speed technique mastery and efficiency, maximum acceleration and top speed velocity, and game-like reactive agility movement. Session will conclude with relative body weight strength movements, plyometrics, and core training. All RSP sessions are led by ETS personnel and WHS coaches. Participants will receive a T-shirt.

The 4-day training program will begin each session with speed technique mastery and efficiency, maximum acceleration and top speed velocity, and game-like reactive agility movement, followed by a 45-60 minute power and explosive strength training session. Welcome to WAA Travel Basketball

For the upcoming 2024-2025 travel basketball season, WAA and ERAA will be following the Minnesota Youth Basketball Alliance guidelines which state that all players must register for their high school boundary association, based off home address.

If you are unsure what high school boundary you are in, please use this Sowashco Boundary Link to check your address.

**Note: Spanish Immersion "home school" is Woodbury High School. So if you are a part of the SI program, you can play for WAA regardless of your home address. **

For full details about the MYAB rules, please use this link:  MYAB Team Composition Guidelines

  • Determines school attendance as the primary factor when deciding which association an athlete is eligible to participate in.
  • Exceptions are made for players who attend private schools and/or home/online schools
  • Clarifies situations involving school districts that have multiple high schools within a single district
  • Example: Lake Middle School filters into both WHS and ERHS, so if ERHS is your high school boundary you should register for ERAA, if WHS is your high school boundary you register for WAA.
  • Incoming 8th graders will be allowed to continue playing for the association they are currently playing for, though we strongly encourage this group to play for the association aligned to their high school.
  • Incoming 3rd-7th graders must play for the association aligned to their high school boundary.

When registering for the 2024-2025 Season, please note the WAA and ERAA timelines and sign up for your High School Boundary Association.

  • ERAA Tryouts - August 5th and 6th
    • Registration July 1 - July 31
  • WAA Tryouts - Week of Sept 9th
    • Registration June 15 - August 23
