Boys Traveling Basketball

Welcome to WAA Travel Basketball

Woodbury Athletic Association (WAA) accepts kids who live in the City of Woodbury OR attends a school in the city of Woodbury for its In-house and Traveling programs.

For Travel Basketball, we must follow MYAS rules.  If a player lives in Woodbury but is not in the Woodbury High School Boundary (East Ridge School, Stillwater School, or Oakdale/Maplewood School), MYAS requires families to fill out a player transfer waiver (basketball only).

Please fill out this waiver and send it to the boys or girls  basketball director prior to tryouts.

2024 Woodbury High School Summer Basketball Skills and Camps

Message from Boys Varsity Head Coach Kent Getzlaff:

The off-season provides the greatest opportunity for individual improvement and our coaching staff can’t wait to get into the gym with all of our youth players this summer!  Our summer program offerings prioritize our most important off season values:

  1.  ETS Strength and Speed (promoting multi-sport athletes)
  2. Becoming better shooters
  3. Improve ballhandling skills
  4. Have fun playing basketball with your friends

Being a “Royal” means you are a great teammate that works hard and is willing to do whatever it takes to win games, while doing your best in school and representing your community in the best way possible.  Our summer registrations are now officially open and we can’t wait to get started in June!
