ABOUT WAA

Woodbury Athletic Association (WAA) is an independent, nonprofit, youth organization administered and managed almost entirely by volunteer adults.  WAA serves all of the City of Woodbury and the surrounding areas regardless of School District boundaries.

WAA has made the commitment to provide a safe, welcoming, positive and productive experience for our youth participants, families and community of Woodbury. We consider diversity a fundamental value to be fully upheld and respected, and it is at the forefront of every decision we make.

A Board of Directors selected by the general membership runs the Association. The Board is a policy-making body responsible for the smooth administration of our 16 youth sports programs:

  • In-house and Travel Baseball
  • In-house and Travel Basketball
  • Flag and Tackle Football
  • Recreational Soccer
  • In-house and Travel Softball
  • Track and Field
  • JO, Recreational and Beach Volleyball
  • Folkstyle, Greco and Freestyle Wrestling

The Board relies on participation from hundreds of coaches and parents who volunteer many hours of their time to the youth of Woodbury. The Woodbury Athletic Association Board meets the second Monday of each month at 8 pm at the WAA building at 2630 Ojibway Drive.

For more information, contact the office at 651-731-0100 or by email.
