The situation within WAA has changed some since the update last week:
House Baseball and House Softball refunds are in progress. It is anticipated that they should be complete by June 15th. If you do not see your refund by that date, please contact Gene at 651-731-0100 and we will follow up.
We have been given permission to gradually resume our programs beginning on June 1st. The City has issued us some field permits, and the Traveling Softball programs will begin holding practice sessions then.
The ability to host these sessions by no means is a complete return to normal. We are required to keep our group sizes to 10 people per group (called pods); and we are allowed additional pods per practice based upon the size of the fields. There will be strict protocols in place concerning social distancing and sanitation steps that must be taken. Any family that does not want to expose their children to this activity will be afforded the opportunity to drop and receive a refund. As far as games to play, we are still waiting for the Governor's panel to establish the complete guidelines for safe play.
Recreational Soccer seasons are being evaluated on a daily basis and information regarding that status will be transmitted here and to those that are registered.
The Track Program has decided to cancel for this year. They may be holding some camps later if they can get space to hold them. Watch the website for details.
WAA is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience to your children and we welcome input from you on how we can better accomplish this.
Stay Safe and have a great weekend.

A board of directors selected by the general membership runs the association. The board relies on participation from hundreds of coaches and parents who volunteer many hours of their time to the youth of Woodbury.
